What is the maximum number of guests you can cater for?

The Pelham Room can seat up to 70 for a wedding breakfast and 120 for the evening celebration.

During September a marquee is available, this can seat up to 120 for a wedding breakfast and 200 for the evening celebration.

What is the procedure for booking a wedding?

Once you have chosen a date that is available we will hold your date for fourteen days to give you time to check the registrars availability (if appropriate). After that time we will require a deposit of £500 (non-refundable or transferable).

When is the balance due for weddings?

Once the initial deposit has been paid, all we ask is full balance is paid four weeks before your wedding day. Payments between these dates can be made as and when you would like.

Are there any hidden charges?

No, we feel our packages are pretty up front with regard to what is included, Packages cannot and do not include the registrars fees. Apart from the registrars, the only additional costs are what makes your wedding personal to you, such as table decorations, favours and stationary.

What about guests with food allergies and intolerances?

Allergen information is available for all menus on request. We will do our utmost to cater for any of your guests’ dietary requirements.

Will you slice up and serve our wedding cake?

Very happy too! After you have cut the cake, our staff will take the cake to our kitchen, where our chefs will slice the cake and present it on platters that we will serve to your guests.

Do you cater for civil ceremonies?

Crowhurst Park has two rooms registered for civil ceremonies, both the Archers Room and Pelham Room.

What decorations can we use and how do we go about decorating?

A final handover meeting will take place around one week before your wedding day. At this meeting as well as handing over all your decorations you can have a run through of the bridal parties entrance. We will set up your wedding decorations on the morning of your wedding. Don’t panic, as it is our venue we want it to look its best, and understand as it is your wedding day a lot of thought has gone in. It has to, and will look perfect!

Can we recommend a playlist for your DJ?

Of course! We advise couples to choose just a few special songs (including first dance) for the DJ along with a rough idea of the kind of music you would like to be played.
